DVDs backup copies of your LearnItFirst.com courses are now available. These DVDs are the exact same experience you get if you were to download the courses - you get the same files, the same videos, and of course all scripts/etc are included.

• Can be purchased when buying new courses/packages
• Can be added to existing "active" course subscriptions
• Expired subscriptions can pay a small renewal fee to include access to download and receive DVD backup

Course 162 (SQL Reporting Services) update

Scott Whigham is in the studio now recording two additional chapters for Course 162, our SQL Server 2008 Reporting Services course. These two new chapters focus on what's new in SQL Server 2008 R2, Report Builder 3.0, and using the new Map Controls in SSRS 2008 R2. The new course title is "SQL Server 2008/R2 Reporting Services".

Frequently Asked Questions

"When will these new videos be available?" Videos will begin showing up on the website within the next few weeks. We will send out another announcement when both chapters are available for download.

"What if my subscription has expired?" We will extend it to ensure that you can download these new chapters at no additional cost.

"Why not create a new course for SSRS 2008 R2 instead of adding on to the 2008 course?" If they were to become two separate courses, there would likely be 95% or higher overlap between them due to how little has changed between SSRS 2008 and SSRS 2008 R2. It makes the most sense to have a single course that features both versions.
